UI/UX DESKTOP design
CONCEPT
WeCognition is an event planning and management startup based in Singapore. It enables enterprises and event organisers to plan and manage their events/membership groups, provides vendors a platform to list their services, and allows consumers to register and stay informed of events and their memberships.
The task was to create a website and post-login dashboard from scratch so as to kick-start the business and create the first stream of revenue while convincing potential investors of the viability of the product.

PROJECT BRIEF
Requirement(s): Post-login enterprise (event management, membership management, venue management & MICE), post-login consumer (events, memberships & online resume), pre-login enterprise, pre-login consumer. Post-login enterprise animated userflow.
Role: Design lead. Worked closely with another designer to come up with userflows. Create wireframes and prototypes. Set the art direction. Engage client in client reviews.
Tool(s) used: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
Duration for Design: 3 months (inclusive of weekly - biweekly client reviews/workshops)

Colours used: Orange, Black, Purple-blue
First Steps
The design started with post-login enterprise to post-login consumer to pre-login enterprise & finally pre-login consumer. The first steps involved research on existing event management platforms to better understand the service, and to figure out what can be done better. Following which, research in hand, wireframes (post-login flows only) were hand drawn so as to allow for a freedom in thought without the restriction of precision on digital.
Digital Wireframes
Once the hand drawn wireframes reached a satisfactory standard - through testing (with the team) and multiple edits (to ensure all functions are included/logical), it was converted into a digital form using Figma. Prototypes were also created to better display the flow.
User Interface
After the flows were confirmed, the user interface was painted on.
Pre-login Enterprise
The pre-login screens for enterprise ties up the post-login experience as it is the initial impression new enterprise users get when they first decide whether they should use this event management system. Hence, colours used are vibrant and approachable and the information provided on the homepage flows in a way where users can know more about the services provided, starting with the products available, the features in the product and testimonials from other enterprise users.
Pricing (Benefits)
Enterprise users are able to get a quick overview of the benefits of joining WeCognition as well as view the pricing plan and FAQ here. By combining the benefits, pricing and FAQ into one page, this allows users to understand what the product has to offer, how much it will potential costs and read up on frequently asked questions all in one page.
